Orderflow Imbalance Explained: Buyer aur Seller Intent Ko Sahi Tarike Se Kaise Padhein
Most traders imbalance ko dekhkar yeh sochte hain ki yeh ek direct signal hai.
Buy imbalance = Buy
Sell imbalance = Sell
Yahin par woh galat hote hain.
Imbalance ek signal nahi hai.
Yeh aggression ka behavioral footprint hai — aur aapka kaam hai samajhna ki yeh aggression actually kya represent karta hai.
Professional traders sirf imbalance nahi dekhte — woh yeh check karte hain ki kya yeh aggression price ko actually move kar paya ya nahi.
Is article mein main sab kuch step-by-step simple terms mein explain karunga, taaki agar aap orderflow mein naye ho, tab bhi clearly samajh pao.
Pehle Samajhte Hain Orders Kaise Kaam Karte Hain (Very Important)
Imbalance samajhne se pehle, aapko 2 basic types ke orders samajhne honge:
1. Market Orders (Aggressive Orders)
- Aap turant enter karna chahte ho
- Aap jo bhi price available hai, usse accept karte ho
👉 Example:
- Aap Buy at Market press karte ho → aap ask price par buy karte ho
- Aap Sell at Market press karte ho → aap bid price par sell karte ho
2. Limit Orders (Passive Orders)
- Aap order place karke wait karte ho
- Aap price ko chase nahi karte
👉 Example:
- Aap market se neeche buy order place karte ho
- Aap market se upar sell order place karte ho
Bid aur Ask Kya Hota Hai? (Simple Understanding)
- Ask Price → jahan sellers sell karne ke liye ready hote hain
- Bid Price → jahan buyers buy karne ke liye ready hote hain
👉 Iska matlab:
- Market buyers ask ko hit karte hain (liquidity lete hain)
- Market sellers bid ko hit karte hain (liquidity lete hain)
Ab Samajhte Hain Imbalance Kya Hota Hai (Simple Explanation)
Ab sab kuch connect karte hain.
Imbalance tab hota hai jab ek side (buyers ya sellers) doosri side ke comparison mein zyada aggressive hoti hai kisi price level par.
Simple words mein:
- Agar aggressive buyers dominate karein → Buy Imbalance
- Agar aggressive sellers dominate karein → Sell Imbalance
Thoda Deep (but simple):
- Buyers market orders use karke ask ko lift karte hain
- Sellers market orders use karke bid ko hit karte hain
Toh:
Imbalance = ek side par strong aggressive activity, jo opposite side se zyada hai
Aur Simple Socho
- Bahut saare aggressive buyers vs kam sellers → Buy Imbalance
- Bahut saare aggressive sellers vs kam buyers → Sell Imbalance
(Reality mein har trade mein buyer aur seller dono hote hain — lekin imbalance yeh dikhata hai ki kaun zyada aggressive hai)
Imbalance Actually Banta Kaise Hai (Step-by-Step)
- Buyers ya sellers aggressive market orders dalna start karte hain
- Woh repeatedly bid ya ask ko hit karte hain
- Unka volume opposite side se kaafi zyada ho jata hai
- Chart par imbalance appear hota hai
Ab do cheezein ho sakti hain:
- Price move karta hai → aggression effective hai
- Price move nahi karta → opposite side absorb kar rahi hai
Yahin se real interpretation start hota hai
Important Concept: Absorption (Simple)
Aap yeh term kaafi sunoge.
Absorption ka matlab hai opposite side sab orders ko absorb kar rahi hai bina price ko zyada move hone diye
Example:
- Buyers lagataar buy kar rahe hain
- Lekin price upar nahi ja raha
👉 Matlab sellers absorb kar rahe hain
Sabse Important Baat
Sirf isliye ki buyers aggressive hain, iska matlab yeh nahi ki price upar hi jayega
Isliye hamesha poochho:
“Kya yeh aggression actually price ko move kar paya?”
Mera Preferred Imbalance Setting: 400%
Ab settings ki baat karte hain.
Main personally use karta hoon:
400% Imbalance
Kyun?
Kyuki mujhe sirf strong aur meaningful activity dekhni hai.
Lower settings (200–300%) par:
- Har jagah imbalance dikhega
- Bahut signals weak honge
- Confusion badhega
400% par:
- Sirf strong participation dikhta hai
- Chart clean hota hai
- Focus easy hota hai
Aap sab kuch dekhna nahi chahte — aapko sirf important cheezein dekhni hain
Core Idea: Imbalance Kahan Hai + Candle Close
Yeh real edge hai.
Sirf imbalance mat dekho.
Yeh dekho:
- Kahan bana hai → top ya bottom
- Price kahan close hua
Golden Rule
Imbalance effort dikhata hai. Price movement result dikhata hai.
Aapko compare karna hai:
- Effort (imbalance)
- Result (price move)
Simple Framework
Sirf do possibilities hoti hain:
1. Effective Aggression
- Aggression hoti hai
- Price same direction mein move karta hai
👉 Strong side control mein hai
2. Ineffective Aggression
- Aggression hoti hai
- Price move nahi karta
👉 Opposite side stronger hai
Time ke saath maine yeh notice kiya hai ki har imbalance important nahi hota — sirf wahi imbalance kaam ka hota hai jo price movement create karta hai
Case 1: Buy Imbalance Top Wick par + Price Down Close
Kya ho raha hai?
- Buyers upar aggressively buy kar rahe hain
- Price ko chase kar rahe hain
- Lekin price sustain nahi kar pa raha
- Candle down close hoti hai
Simple Samajh:
Buyers ne push kiya, lekin fail ho gaye
👉 Effort high, result weak
👉 Opposite side absorb kar rahi hai
Aage kya ho sakta hai?
- Price neeche aa sakta hai
- Buyers exit kar sakte hain
- Selling pressure badh sakta hai
Case 2: Buy Imbalance Bottom Wick par + Price Up Close
Kya ho raha hai?
- Buyers neeche aggressively enter kar rahe hain
- Price upar push kar rahe hain
Simple Samajh:
Buyers successful hain
👉 Effort strong, result strong
👉 Buyers control mein hain
Aage kya ho sakta hai?
- Price upar continue kar sakta hai
- Momentum build ho sakta hai
Yahin Par Log Confuse Hote Hain
Same imbalance alag meaning de sakta hai depending on location
Isliye location + result > imbalance
Case 3: Sell Imbalance Bottom Wick par + Price Up Close
- Sellers neeche aggressively sell kar rahe hain
- Price neeche nahi ja raha
- Candle up close
👉 Sellers fail
👉 Buyers strong
Case 4: Sell Imbalance Top Wick par + Price Down Close
- Sellers upar aggressively sell karte hain
- Price neeche jata hai
👉 Sellers control mein
Additional Insights (Very Important)
1. Imbalance Count mat karo
Ek strong imbalance > multiple random imbalance
2. Next Candles dekho
Next 1–2 candles confirm karte hain
3. Fast Move = Strong Intent
- Fast move → strong conviction
- Slow move → weak conviction
4. Repeated Imbalance
- Ek side baar-baar try kar rahi hai
- Eventually ek side jeetegi
5. Timing of Imbalance Matters
- Early → continuation
- Late → slowdown
Har imbalance equal nahi hota
Common Mistakes
❌ Imbalance = entry
❌ Buy imbalance = bullish
❌ No imbalance = no trade
Mera Simple Checklist
Main yeh dekhta hoon:
- Kahan bana?
- Price move hua?
- Next candle kya bola?
- Effective ya ineffective?
Mujhe farq nahi padta kaun active hai — mujhe farq padta hai kaun effective hai
Final Thought
Imbalance prediction nahi hai.
Yeh understanding hai:
Kaun market ko move karne ki koshish kar raha hai — aur kaun successful ho raha hai
Most traders react karte hain.
Professionals interpret karte hain.
Imbalance yeh nahi batata kya hoga — yeh batata hai kaun kuch karne ki koshish kar raha hai
